COVID Vaccinations Now Offered at Charleston Area Publix

Charleston and surrounding area Publix are collaborating with the state of South Carolina to distribute COVID-19 vaccines at 42 Publix pharmacies in the state (chart of the locations in our area is below).

Following South Carolina guidelines, vaccinations can be administered to health care workers, individuals ages 70 and older, residents and staff of long-term care facilities, and South Carolina state/local government employees and contractors who are critical to the administration of COVID-19 vaccinations and testing.

Vaccinations are provided by appointment only. Eligible individuals can make appointments beginning Tuesday, January 19th, using the online reservation system at publix.com/covidvaccine. The actual appointments/vaccinations will begin Wednesday, January 20th.

We have been informed by a Charleston on the Cheap fan that ALL APPOINTMENTS have been filled as of 1/19. We will look for any new additional information as it becomes available. Also been informed to keep trying as new appointments can come and go a different times.
