This popular annual event will feature over 100 tables of classic and modern comic books, amazing artwork, unique artisans, outstanding cosplay, and much more. It is the perfect way to get out and celebrate Charlestons comic book scene and get your Funko Pop fix.

On Saturday, February 20th, the insanely popular “Star Wars Experience” returns to the Expo! It Features a selection of Star Wars characters, props and photo ops. It will have you feeling like you are part of the action and it will provide plenty of opportunity to load up your Instagram feed. This event is FREE with admission to the Expo, and 100% of the money donated for it will benefit the Lowcountry Orphan Relief!
Then on Sunday, come be a part of the largest Cosplay Showcase in Charleston. Come dressed as you favorite character and have your unique style captured by event photographers along with the special guests and artists.
Naturally you are going to want to eat at some point so the event will also have a food truck rodeo outside to keep hungry attendees happy.

Tickets to the 13th Annual Captain’s Comic Expo can be purchased ONLINE or at the door as there are no physical tickets for the event and ID must be shown upon arrival.
To ensure every is safe and can enjoy this great event to the fullest, the following COVID guidelines have been implemented.
Facemasks are to be work by all staff, vendors, and attendees of the Expo at all times inside the building.
Temperature Checks will be done at the time of ticket purchase. Please don’t come if you are sick.
Social Distancing is factored into the booth layout, aisle size, and will be monitored by staff during the event. Please use common sense and give a little extra space to your neighbor as you enjoy the Expo.
Capacity Limits will be set by the City of Mt Pleasant and enforced by the Expo staff. There may be short waits to get into the Expo at peek times of the day, so please be patient as we do not over crowd the hall.
